The Property

Your place in the sun, a truly beautiful vacation home consisting of seven (7) bedrooms, nine(9) bathrooms, 90ft open veranda both upstairs and downstairs, set in two acres of well fruited land. The Villa also boasts 120ft private white sand beach, swimming pool and newly constructed tennis court and 800 square foot exercise room. There are four (4) Kayaks available for the guests to use while experiencing the beautiful bay and coral reefs of the Caribbean Sea.

Rooms

A Summer Place offers seven (7) air-conditioned bedroom with en suite bathrooms, powder room and pool bathroom. Most bedrooms come equipped with cable TV and DVD players.

Be treated to mouth-watering local and international cuisine by our chef who will whip up meals according to your likes and dislikes. You may wish to set the menu yourself or be completely surprised.

Location & Attractions

This serene little bay is perfectly situated almost half way between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios along Jamaica's north coast. Its location makes it perfect for those guests wanting to venture out and see more of Jamaica and do some shopping. The easiest way to get here is to fly into Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay and we can arrange for you to be collected and brought to the villa where we are sure you won't want to leave.

Whether you would rather be out on the beautiful sea in one of our kayaks, snorkelling and looking at the colourful sealife in the protected bay, relaxing poolside with a pina colada in your hand or enjoying a sea view workout in our exercise room, A Summer Place offers a variety of activities for all.

Bookings

One of the most picturesque natural harbours in the Caribbean, Discovery Bay was renamed in 1947 to commemorate the place where it was once thought that Christopher Columbus first set foot on Jamaican soil. Discovery Bay is home to Columbus Park, an open-air museum facility featuring various Columbian and Colonial artefacts. Since Columbus, many others have discovered the beauty of Discovery Bay, and over the years a small town has developed around the bay area.

Whether you wish to have a formal dinner at the 200-year-old family heirloom table that seats 18 or a more casual meal on the verandah or even dine in your swim suits by the pool, the choice is yours. The staff will be happy to accommodate you wherever you wish to dine. May we suggest cocktails under the gazebo while watching a glorious sunset across the bay or candle-lit dinner by the pool on a special occasion.
